At IOC Tutors, we believe that talent is everywhere — but opportunity isn’t. That’s why we created IOC Outreach, our social-impact arm dedicated to making high-quality academic support and university guidance accessible to every student, regardless of background.

Our Mission

IOC Outreach works with schools, youth organisations, and community groups across the UK to deliver free and subsidised tutoring, mentoring, and university preparation workshops. Our goal is simple: to level the playing field and inspire students from all backgrounds to aim higher, think bigger, and believe in their potential.

What We Do

🎓 University Access Workshops - We run interactive sessions that demystify the Oxbridge and Russell Group application process — covering personal statements, interviews, and admissions tests — led by current students from Oxford, Cambridge, and Imperial College London.
📘 Academic Mentoring - Our outreach mentors provide ongoing subject-specific support in core GCSE and A-Level subjects, helping students close knowledge gaps and build exam confidence.
💬 Inspiration Through Connection - Many students have never met someone from their dream university. Our ambassadors share their stories, struggles, and successes, showing that top institutions aren’t out of reach — they’re achievable with the right mindset and guidance.

Local councils and educational charities - We tailor each programme to the needs of the school — from short-term revision sessions to year-long mentorship schemes.

Impact So Far

In just the past year, IOC Outreach has:

Supported over 400 students through school workshops and mentoring programmes
Helped dozens secure offers from Oxbridge, Imperial, and other top universities
Delivered free academic sessions to underrepresented communities across London, Birmingham, and Manchester
